Lavender Lemonade

Lavender Lemonade

Lavender is one of the edible flowers from the mint family that has an incredible delicate smell and taste. No wonder why it is so widely used from kitchen to cosmetics and medicine for its benefits.  In kitchen, lavender can be used in various desserts, salads, dressings or drinks.

Lavender is known for its relaxing effect so this wonderful refreshing lavender lemonade is one of the best ways to use lavender and enjoy a hot summer day. The subtle flavor of lavender in combination with the lemons makes it a sophisticated drink perfect for special occasions. You can make it with sparkling water instead of regular one or even add some vodka to create a flavorful summer cocktail. Try it and let me know what you think of this. We definitely loved it. Cheers!

I love the scent of lavender! And it's so beautiful added to lemonade! I'm still waiting for my plant to blossom (tapping me toes here impatiently!).

Lavender lemonade? This sounds absolutely fantastic and oh so refreshing. I like a touch of lavender in shortbread, so I'd love this. Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog.

Looks delicious. Try this recipe for lemonade sirup. Juste 250 g of pure lemon juice and 250 g sugar. Put in a jar in the fridge and wait 2 or 3 days. Time to time just shake to melt the sugar. And just like that you have your sirup ready. Keep it in the fridge. When you want to do lemonade just mix some of the sirup and cold water. Anytime it just took you 10 seconds to make naturel fresh lemonade. You can do the same permenganate sirup too.
