I’m a huge fan of lavender—I adore its color and its delightful aroma. I love incorporating it into various special desserts, whether it’s in macarons, ice cream, or even just a refreshing glass of lemonade. And now, I’ve added it to these delicious Lavender Chocolate Cookies. Since I’m also a chocolate lover, I couldn’t resist adding a chocolaty twist, but feel free to make them as pure Lavender Cookies if you prefer.
A friend of mine recommended these cookies, and I was excited to give them a try. They turned out just as I had hoped—rich and chocolaty with a subtle hint of lavender that adds a touch of sophistication. While lavender may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I believe that when used in moderation, it can truly elevate a dessert to new heights. If you’re a lavender enthusiast like me, I highly recommend giving these cookies a try.

Wow! These lavender chocolate cookies look divine, Ella! Absolutely YUM! 🙂
Oh my god these cookies look amazing… that gooey chocolate centre, yum! I love the lavender combination too. Dark chocolate and it go so well together.
What a great idea to use lavender leaves in these cookies Ella! I’ve had lavender ice cream before, and loved it – so I can imagine it would be as equally wonderful in a cookie! Have a great weekend!
Great flavors, these cookies are beautiful! Pinned to try them!

they are mouthwatering..!!
so glad you like them 🙂
Hello!
I made these cookies and they were delicious however they were very dense unlike the picture above. I checked the butter which states 1/2 cup but your picture under directions #3 has two sticks which would be 1 cup of butter. Which is actually correct?
Thanks!
I've used 2 smaller pieces of butter that equals 1/2 cup.. maybe next time try to use less flour.. or use cake flour I am sure they will work fine next time
Whats a great idea …! Its Very pretty!
nice…I love chocolate cookies
Wow! Lavender choclate cookies are something I always wanted to try but never had the chance. But just by going through your post it makes me wanna make them right away. Thanks for sharing.
Loved these choocolate cookies
Some of your cup to gram measurements are off. For the flour and sugar for example. Do you mind correcting them? My cookies came out good but didnt expand and stayed in a ball shape. And I used a 1.5 tbsp cookie scoop. Made about 20 cookies like the recipe said. I did 1 & 2/3 cups flour and 2/3 cups sugar, much more than the grams you have listed next to them. Should I have followed the grams or cup measurements?
1 cup of all purpose flour weights 125 g.. so.. 1 2/3 cup weights 210g. 2/3 cup of powdered sugar weights 80g (didn't use granulated sugar here). You can flatten them next time, before baking.
You can also use my newer version of chocolate chip/chunk cookies, that expand better while baking, and add the lavender to the recipe if desired. https://www.homecookingadventure.com/chocolate-chunk-cookies
