Imagine indulging in a warm, decadent, fudgy brownie topped with a scoop of creamy ice cream—a chocolate lover’s ultimate delight. I was captivated by this easy and quick dessert, and I’m almost certain you will be too. For all the chocolate lovers out there, the Skillet Brownie is an absolute must-try! Enjoy every blissful bite!

How to make Skillet Brownie

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a 9-inch (23cm) cast iron pan, place the butter and melt it over low heat. Once melted, add the sugar, salt, cocoa powder, and instant coffee. Stir the mixture until well combined, then remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.

After the mixture has cooled a bit, add the vanilla extract and incorporate the eggs one at a time. Then, add the flour and mix until everything is well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Spread 1 ounce (30g) of chocolate chips on top of the batter in the pan.

Bake the mixture in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few crumbs attached.

Once baked, serve the dessert warm with your favorite ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate for an indulgent treat.
