I would like to add a small can of crashed pineapple to the mix, but I’m unsure of how I could add it and still have the end product hold together. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you very much for post it ng the b recipe!

    1. Ella - Home Cooking Adventure Author says:

yes.. you can consider adding some crushed pineapple. It should be fine. May need to add just a bit more flour. A bit similar to hummingbird cake. https://www.homecookingadventure.com/hummingbird-cake/

  5. I was reading the ingredients list and I wasn’t sure of the amount of brown sugar? Is it 3/4c or 1c.
Also, can I use a healthier oil other than vegetable. Maybe olive or avocado oil?

    1. Ella - Home Cooking Adventure Author says:

It is 3/4 cup sugar (150g). Sorry for the typo, I fixed it. Yes, you can use any oil you like best, even coconut oil. Hope you will try it out.

      1. Thank you!
