Making Parmesan roasted potatoes is very easy, and the result is incredibly tasty and nutritious. Using Parmesan is a fantastic method for preparing baby potatoes to cook to perfection and have an amazing flavor.
Serve these Parmesan Roasted Potatoes as a side dish for any meal, or enjoy them as a satisfying snack on their own. With their crispy exterior and cheesy goodness, they’re sure to become a family favorite.

How to make Parmesan Roasted Baby Potatoes

To start, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Melt the butter, then pour it onto a baking sheet, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Next, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and your choice of seasonings over the melted butter. You can add garlic powder, salt, pepper, different types of herbs.

Place the baby potato halves face down on the butter and seasonings on the baking sheet.

Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake the potatoes for 30 to 35 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and crispy.

Once baked, allow the potatoes to cool for about 5 minutes before removing them from the pan. This will give them a chance to firm up slightly before serving.

We like these potatoes alongside fresh vegetables and a sour cream or yogurt dip or tomato sauce.

Enjoy your delicious potatoes and don’t forget to tag me on your Instagram posts if you try them out.

The world can NOT have enough potato recipes, in my opinion! The best potatoes are those taken directly from your home’s organic kitchen garden, having not used any chemicals and pesticides on your soil and plants. The taste can not be compared to regular industrial potatoes plus yours will be much more nutritious and toxic-free. Looks yummy!

  8. Bonnie Gioiello Author says:

The cheese and potatoes stuck to the pan, hard to serve – tasted delicious, did I over bake them – just 30 minutes?

    1. Ella-HomeCookingAdventure Author says:

If you baked them 30 minutes they shouldn't be over baked. Yes they kind of stuck to the pan that's why we need to let them cool for 5 minutes(as mentioned in step 5) before removing them from the pan. Did you let them stand 5 minutes to let the cheese and butter harden? Let me know, maybe we can figure what the problem was.

Great recipe, can’t wait to try it.

Silly question but how much is ONE SERVING? 1/2 potatoe, 2 potatoes, ???
I need to know as I have to work out the nutritional value.

    1. Ella-HomeCookingAdventure Author says:

Well I would say that 3 potatoes are one serving. Especially if you are using baby potatoes that are really small. Hope it helps and sorry for the late answer.

  12. madhavi Author says:

Potato….my favorite. would surely gonna try it

  13. I use a glass pan sprayed with Pam and they don’t stick at all. Also, this recipe works great with regular potatoes slicked about ½” thick.

Yes.. I am sure it will work. Sorry for the late answer.

  16. Jamie Author says:

I really want to make this, however am out of parmesean cheese. Have you tried it with shredded cheese (monterey/cheddar blend)?

    1. Ella-HomeCookingAdventure Author says:

No I haven't tried with cheddar… not in this way.. let me know if you do.. though Parmesan would be the best choice in this case.

  22. Sofia Author says:

I’ve been cooking a similar recipe foor years!! Instead of cuting the potatos in halves, you can cutting 1/2 inch slices, so they will cook faster. Also, you can pour parmesan on top of them too, ’cause, you know, there is no such thing as ‘too much cheese’.

    1. Ella-HomeCookingAdventure Author says:

Sounds awesome:) will definitely try like this as well. Thank you for your comment.

  23. Deanna Author says:
