How to make Date Cocoa Brownies

Begin by preheating the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease an 8-inch (20cm) square pan and line it with parchment paper.

In a food processor, combine dates and boiling water until a paste forms. Transfer the date paste into a medium bowl.

Add eggs one at a time, followed by melted coconut oil and vanilla extract. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.

Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the date mixture, and incorporate them thoroughly.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few crumbs attached.

Allow the baked mixture to cool completely. Once cooled, cut it into slices and enjoy these as an indulgent dessert or a tasty snack. If you do try them out, let me know how they turned out for yo and don’t forget to tag me on Instagram.
