Homemade Crepes With Strawberries

These Homemade Crepes With Strawberries are the best crepes ever! This is a recipe I repeat very often for my family. The crepes are made with simple ingredients, they are very easy to prepare and are perfect for breakfast or as a snack for any other time of the day.

Crepes can be filled with your favorite jam, fresh fruits, cheese, or Nutella. This time I filled the homemade crepes with fresh strawberries and strawberry jam and fresh.  You can get super creative with the fillings, strawberry and Nutella, coconut, different berries, cream cheese, and the list can go on.  Hope you will try these crepes and enjoy them as we sure did!

How to make homemade crepes

To prepare these delightful crepes, start by mixing together the eggs, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in the milk, then add the flour and mix well until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Add the lemon zest, vanilla extract, oil, and sparkling mineral water, and whisk the mixture until it is smooth and well combined.

Heat a medium nonstick pan over medium heat. Sprinkle a teaspoon of vegetable oil onto the pan to ensure the crepes don’t stick. Pour a small ladle of batter into the center of the pan and quickly spread it in a circular motion to cover the entire surface of the pan.

Cook the crepe until the bottom is light brown, then flip it over and cook the other side until it is also light brown. Repeat this process with the remaining batter.

Once all the crepes are cooked, fill them with your favorite jam, such as strawberry jam, and add fresh fruits for an extra burst of flavor. Crepes can also be served with ice cream or whipped cream for a delicious treat.
