The recipe for this Easy Strawberry Ice Cream is quick and absolutely mouthwatering. There is nothing better on hot summer days, than a flavorful homemade ice cream and this one is definitely one of them.
This homemade strawberry ice cream is made with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and a hint of vanilla, perfect for a refreshing treat.
Strawberries are one of the best fruits to use in various desserts, smoothies, and ice creams as they don’t have hard skin or seeds. Not to mention that they have an amazing flavor that beats almost any of the most tempting desserts ever.
How to make strawberry ice cream
Start by washing the strawberries, draining them well, patting them dry with a clean dishtowel, and removing the leaves. Place the strawberries into a large bowl and mash them using a fork or an egg beater.
Next, whip the cream at medium speed. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until soft peaks form. Add the mashed strawberries and continue mixing until well blended.
Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for about 3-4 hours before serving. If the ice cream is too hard, let it stand in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy this refreshing homemade strawberry ice cream!
